Title and Credit Sequences

Shelock Holmes

Many of the different scenes from the film are shown in both black and white, the first being of Shelock himself then a girl strapped to a bed initially that becomes sketch book drawing. The credits from the film appear on top of the drawn scenes. These drawings are then made to blur and smudge onto the screen.

The technique they used are:
Animation - the film scene becoming the sketch book drawing.
Visual effects - the puffs of smoke as the scene becomes as a drawing.
Graphics - the use of audio as the scene changes motion to still.
Movement - it is fast moving taking you from scene to sketch then scene again.

The advanced techniques they used are:
 the film scene is quite sharp as the scene becomes a sketch book drawing it us blurred by the action of smoke. 
Rotation - does not appear to be any rotation. 



James Bond - Skyfall
After James Bond has been shot, he is seen falling through the water as if dead. Water looks murky then someone pulls him in. The titles appear and disappear. A massive hand pulls his foot in the corner of the screen. The actor's name comes on the screen next to his body. More titles emerge in a wavy motion then the title of the film appears against the background of the water. James Bond is seen falling down a hole. Several cardboard cut outs comes into view showing bullet holes and blood is shown from where he was shot. You can see items such ad weapons appearing a falling. These are an indicator as to what is going to happen. Gravestones appear to make people think he's dead. Then the screen goes red showing image of the inside of his blood vessel then a extreme close up zooming into someone's eye. James Bond looks like he is on a mission and shot people. His shadow is seen on the sand at the bottom of the sea. The bullet hole is in the same place for each. More titles come on and James Bond's blood floats round in the sea. His blood changes into the shape of a skull. The camera zooms in once again to a scene which looks like hell as there is a lot of fire. Dragons float around the titles showing evil eyes and fire coming out of it's mouth. It speeds through the fire into a sequence which then looks like a kaleidoscope effect with guns, knives and gravestones. At the end of this a skull appears and more graveyards. The camera takes you into the grave. It seems that the camera in . James Bond walks into a room full of mirrors and he uses a gun to shoot himself in the mirror. Once again he shoots at his reflection in the other mirrors. The camera uses a close-up shot of his wound and zoom into the wound showing falling apart. Finally there is an extreme close-up shot of a face and eyes and the director's name is shown in the eye.
The technique they used are:
Animation -  blood is seen to be coming from a cut out of one of the film characters-objects not normally seen in the sea are surrounding the characater of James, shadows of characters swirl around James pointing guns at him.
Visual effects - James is seen to be being pulled downwards towards the bottom of the ocean, as he falls down you see a woman, then the appearance of swords falling down and what appears to be a cemetry at the bottom of the ocean.  
Graphics -  the scene is acted out with the Adele song 'Skyfall' playing, swirling dust is seen then this becomes bright red and almost becomes the ace of the devil.   
Movement - the movement is quite slow as the scene is under the water, not quite slow motion but not at full speed.

Catch Me If You Can
At the start, it is at the airport about night time and the 'DreamWorks Pictures PRESENTS' comes up on the screen then the man in the suit started walking from the left side and more titles comes up, white plane is in the air and is not daytime. On the right side, you can see a  pilots on the way to their work. While they are on the way, more titles. The man on the left side is still there and looking at them. Then Air Stewardess are on the way to their work. 'Leonardo DiCaprio' title comes up and point the arrow where is the left side man. his 'P' line touched the ground and zoomed the left side man, when walk through the black line, he dressed up as a pilot. 'Tom Hanks' title comes up and you can see a big man sitting on the chair and reading the newspaper but 'Leonardo DiCaprio' is still there but in small version. Air Stewardess and Pilots are walking to the right side.  'Tom Hanks' man is standing and looking for 'Leonardo', Air Stewardess on the way to their work. 'Leonardo is still walking to his work, close-up of his feet walking upstairs. 'Tom Hanks' are still trying to find him. Then the straight black line comes from the ground went up and typed out in 'if you can' then 'Catch me'. 'me' are in the cloud then started floating away from them and disappearing. A white plane comes up and fly straight through the when the plane gone, you can see some roads and cars driving on them. More titles comes up. Taxi cab was turning right really fast then the police car is chasing that cab. Leonardo dressed up as a pilots jumped into the orange water tube then when through the black line, hes changed into his swim shorts. Then zoomed out, turned out it was a drink so he jumped into the pool. Two sexy ladies in their bikinis are at his place. More titles comes up, following Leonardo while swimming to right side. Walking up the ladder from the pool, more ladies relaxing outside the pool. A giant heel, he walked through the heel then turned into a doctor. Started walking to the elevator and a nurse is in it with a pushing tray. The door closes on us then more titles. the elevator comes up and Tom Hanks is walking on the stairs, trying to find him.  Tom Hanks came in the elevator but Leonardo was already gone by going to the different door. Hes trying to run away from him. When gone through the different door, he is in different character now. More titles, still running away from Tom Hanks. Leonardo is still running and ran past the bookshelves when all the papers is falling over from it. Leonardo managed ran away now and dressed up as a posh suit in the music room. More titles and Tom is looking for him. Leonardo is trying run away from Tom by going to different places, pretending to be someone else then at the end the half circle. Tom is running to get him and at the end of the edge, they got smaller and disappeared. More titles while running away from Tom.
